Collection of materials accumulated by Samuel Freedman relating to Irish playwright Bernard Shaw. The collection includes correspondence; ephemera; manuscripts and publications; photographs; and play programs, primarly regarding Shaw and but also including some of his contemporaries.
Collection is open for research. One audio cassette has been digitally copied; all original media was retained, but may not be played due to format. Digital use copies can only be accessed in the Burns Library Reading Room.

Eleven letters written by Irish playwright Bernard Shaw to Bernard Partridge, an actor who worked under the stage name of Bernard Gould. Most of the letters are regarding Partridge's performance in Shaw's play Arms and the Man.

Charlotte Frances Shaw letters
Contains letters and postcards from Charlotte Frances Shaw to her friends Gilbert and Mary Murray regarding her domestic arrangements, travel plans, and health concerns. Additionally, there are two telegrams from Bernard Shaw to Gilbert Murray and one from Bernard Shaw and Granville Barker to Murray. There is also a letter from Blanche Patch, Shaw's secretary, to an unknown correspondent.
